    Panzer Skull on EK ribbon

    Dear Friends,

I purchased a long time ago nice EK2 "65" - for quite cheap price and just because of the cross...but as you see on the picture there is panzer skull sewed on ribbon.

Could anyone tell me is it original, since I got this cross so that I can not imagine why there would be a repro skull on the ribbon????

There are no marks on skull.

    I appreciate any help!

Anybody? Has anyone ever seen one like that made by veteran.

The skull is original and has probably just been attached for display. I have seen this done several times, mostly by German veterans rather than collectors.
