    Insignia Identification

This is the best I can do with the image of this KM officer. Any ideas what the three breast insignia might be? One of them is probably the Spanish Cross (issued by Spain, not Germany), but I am sure this officer did not win a DKIG and I am not sure that he won an EK of either class either. He was captured in 1940 while in command of a u-boat, after only 4 months on patrol so this photo, of his wedding day, probably was taken in 1939.

      possible awards

      Well,

Not much response so far, but I think it is the following:

      Right brest--Spanish Cross (Germany)

      Top Left Chest--Spanish Cross (Spain)

Bottom Left Chest--The Luftwaffe Observer Badge

          po badge

I think it is the combined pilot observer badge due to the gold wreath.
