Some Very Strange Army NCO Tresse

Robert Noss has sent this along to me to share here. This section was a little bit extra left over in the pocket of an Infantry Regiment 61 Feldwebel's Waffenrock he had (and sold) years ago, but saved this bit of NCO rank edging.

It is the correct width for collars and cuffs, but of a pattern neither of us has ever seen before. How about the rest of you guys?

Must admit that it's a new one on me too. Looks like some kind of variant Reichswehr or LW tress - assuming that it actually is Third Reich.

      Hello,

This style of tress was used by the Reichsarbeitdiest from the middle of the war onward. Check Angolia, "German Labor Organizations" by Bender.

I have several pairs of RAD boards and chevrons that use this style which came in dull mouse-grey rayon and bright aluminum.

Have the book, but the RAD tress looks different to me. All the examples shown have the zig-zag in the center section - similar to KM tress. Rick's example is not the same.
