This looks like a nice tunic, the bottom corners of the pockets look a bit flared/pointy to me rather than rounded but no doubt that this is a period fashion. Everything else seems ok. Is there a dagger hanger on the inside and are there any tailors' lables/markings etc? I have a Lt. 'rock from the 26 Inf Regt.

There doesn't have to be but as you show a vent in post 4 which appears to be for a dagger and it's a quality tailor made jacket I'm surprised that neither of these are there - but absence of these aren't bad news by themselves!
Sometimes there is a length of material with a carbine hook suspended from the inner left of the jacket near the armpit and the dagger hangers clip onto it. Is there an inside pocket with a white lable inside it? The owners' name is usually found here if there is a lable.

Here is the first tunic I owned. I am posting it to show that the pockets are okay. Mine was tailored as well..note the points to the collar and to the pocket flaps. Material was Italian Gaberdine.
