This is one of the early reproductions of the patch. Originals were either on a grey-green or field grey backing versus the white. Some of the current repros use the correct color backing. See "uniforms and traditions of the german army" Vol II page 88-89.Regards Jim

Does anyone have any photos of the badge in wear? I've seen plenty of the cap badge in use but none as yet of the sleeve patch.
