look at this M36-tunic and beware!!

    Hello to all

Thought this would be interesting for the uniform-collectors...

Found these pictures on a french site. It's a reproduction M36 tunic which served in the movie.
Made by the ' STURM' company ( I have a inf. officer service tunic, bought a few months ago for 60 Euros, made by that same company)
As you can see it's very detailed and with some aging quiet scarry, no?
The person that posted these pictures stated that there was a major dealer in France who bought a few of them??!! For what? moremad

    any comment on this one?

    Greetings

    Jan

            Hi Jan,

Wow, that tunic looks great Actualy, it realy does. I have seen some early Jahnke and Sturm jackets. Fortunately, when you hold them in your hands there are enough signs to be safe. A friend of mine showed me a mint one about three months ago. Apparently of more recent vintage as the difference was really easy to spot. Some of the very early copies, however, are said to be almost undetectable. As I have not seen any, can someone, who has been around longer, and remembers them elaborate some.

Thanks a lot and best regards,
            Al

Yes Albert, I think too that especially the new state is a give-away, but like you said those early re-productions could be hard to detect... I also want to see one...

ps I just got that M40 in form Weitze, it's very nice and I'm pleased with it, it"s already fully packed and ready for the Blitz. Iwill take some pictures next week when I have new batteries for my dig cam...

                Kind Regards
