Luftwaffe Pilots Armband

What are your thoughts on this??

It passes the blacklight test. No stamps or markings. Does anyone else have an original to compare?

Hello Mike,
I do collect armbands from time to time, but this particular type is one that I never owned, nor ever cared to own. There is so little information available, and not much expertise in this area of collecting it seems. My gut instinct tells me that these are not original. I remember seeing these in stacks on dealers tables in the late 70's and early 80's. At one show in particular in Lorain, Ohio, I remember that a dealer had a pile of these. In addition to the printed eagle and 'Deutsche Luftwaffe', they had consecutive serial numbers inked in. I guess possible, but not likely. Again, this is only my opinion based on limited experiences and gut feeling alone.
