Bleagh!!! Can't pretend I know whether such labels would have ever been used on anything but by sheer logic alone-- if ONE manufacturer needed a buncha labels to stick on their product-- they wouldn't have strips with EVERY ONE TO A DIFFERENT MAKER.

How big is it? Like Rick, I can't imagine that they would actually be used as labels on insignia, since they are each different. Only thing I can think of is that it was some sort of guide used by a manufacturer.Comment

Actually,
There are only 28 different numbers (in a distinct pattern). Cloth is made of a silky material and measures approx. 10 by 9 inches.
Who knows? It certainly seems to be a template of some sort, perhaps for paper or cloth tags.Comment
