Opinions on tunic and visor

Hello,I just got this tunic came with a "crappy" visor today,and I found that all the buttons of the tunic are marked "A" which is "Assman",I just wonder could it be a wartime piece?

I originally bought it as a postwar repro or East german made tunic for display,please feel free to post you thoughts,thank you in advance!

The tunic would appear to be a postwar West German open neck tunic, that has been converted into a 'closed neck' one.
I think that 'Assman' continued to make buttons etc. after 1945.
You are correct about the cap being 'crappy'...again, this would appear to be West German with added insignia.
