I have found this tally ribbon on a danish site. I don't know much about these, but I think it is a fake. Am I wright or wrong?

This is a fake. Note the style of my original cotton Scharnhorst. These tallies are very complicated and a dangerous area to get into. My advice is to stay away unless ready for a big investment in time. I can help if you want, just PM me.

All mützenbands were copied after the war, some better than others, but all fakes so far can be spotted, BUT, many times you need to see close up pictures of the reverse or actually hold it in your hands to feel the type of ribbon (there were three types).

Once again, not a good area to get into without a lot of research and time.
