Did you mean to say the collar piping was rayon..or is it the wool piping? and the collar tabs have rayon piping?

Yes, both the collar and the tabs are piped in rayon, with the tab piping being very slightly a lighter shade.

That's great to hear, guys. Because of how I'd acquired it, I was pretty certain that it was all correct. Am I correct in assuming that a signals piped wrapper would be on par with a panzer pioneer wrapper as far as rarity goes? As I mentioned, there should be more stuff comming which may relate directly to this tunic...

            Cheers,
            Arran.

I don't think it's quite that rare, Panzer Nachrichten units in Panzerwraps were around till the end of the war, Pioneer in wraps was short lived. My Opa had one but it was stolen by the dry cleaner and he was given a sweater as an apology in the early 50's... Here are some photos oh his unit all wearing signals wraps. BTW, any new items yet?

I never saw that Pz Signals jacket so I cannot comment on it. But I have seen period original wraps using DAF buttons.

                Cheers, John

This wrap is now in the collection of a specialist who appreciates its finer points far more than I could. My "source" is back in Germany again, and I'm waiting to see what else he turns up...

                    Cheers,
                    Arran.

Unless I am wrong, this example is shown in Vol. 1 of Scott Pritchett’s “Panzer Feldjacke” book.

OSS: Why the "nono"? The resurrected post or the wrap? It really does not matter but I am just curious...

Yes, I started commenting on the wrap and suddenly realized it was a thread from ten years back.
