Never seen this pin setup before so....is it any good ?

Yep its a good one

Found with a few different hardware set ups depending on period but original. Looks to have been a silver specimen at one time but the finish is more often than not long gone one these zinkers. Attached is what I beleive to be an earlier gold specimen of the same bird

It looks as if the original finish is completely gone. If so, it may be a KM breast eagle, especially since it has brass fittings.

I've never seen a good/unquestionable finish silver specimen of this variation so far but all the "likely/probable" silver ones I have seen share the same brassy looking hardware as the gold ones...
