Hi guys hope you’re well just bought this printed shield what really got my attention is that in my opinion it may be uniform removed which normally you don’t see with these types of shields look forward to hearing from you regards

Well regarding the stitching, that is not plausible, these were sewn on the tunic, this is sewn on it self, so not uniform removed.

Appreciate your comment do you reckon the stitching could have been made during wartime period

Anything is possible unless the thread itself is bad. These were folded and sewn when they were applied to the tunic, and I would say you have a common printed patch that a collector has folded and sewn for display.
