    Heer Standard Bearer's Sleeve Patch

All, these are not my area. Any red (or, I guess, Yellow) flags on this one?

As always, many thanks in advance for your help!

Although this is an obvious original insignia I would question the application as it looks to be very close to the shoulder, whereas in period photos it is worn centered on the upper arm.

As stated Don - original, however I don't believe it's period applied. There appears to be too much lift along the edge of the shield meaning it doesn't have the flat, snug appearance you'd see after being in situ for 70+ years.

Here's another pic. Entirely possible that it has been dolled up postwar:

From this image the location on the sleeve looks normal, but the era when it was stitched on would still need determining. Is the tunic named or dated? Is that number for KR 10 on the straps?

It is - unnamed but the tailor was in Torgau, so I believe the base tunic is legit.

That was the garrison town of KR 10 so I'd agree. If the price doesn't exceed the sum of the parts I'd say it would be a lovely addition to any collection as it shows beautifully
