    Luft tropical uniforms..

    Things I've seen :

    We've the tan cotton..
Think I've seen tan one pocket HBT trousers..,not the jackets..
    Tan side caps,Einheitsmutzen..etc..
    The tan pithhelmet..

    We've the blue cotton..
    The blue HBT..
    Blue cotton/HBT sidecaps,......
    The blue pithhelmet..

    We've green HBT..
Green cotton ???,think I've seen the jacket..
    The green pithhelmet..

    Bottomline:

Tan stuff is rather common, more than blue..,but I've less info about the green stuff..
Does any of you've some additional info, maybe with examples to show ?

    Hi Jos!

Have you seen in the period photos, a LW tan cotton 4 pocket tropical tunic, with silver officer's buttons, and no eagle?

I think yes,but I've to go through a lot of pics for that..,will keep it in mind..

Many had jackets without a eagle and the silver buttons were just a matter of taste for the officers, easy to change..
To go by heart I know that Hermann Graf had silver buttons on his trop.jackets and a blue NCO eagle.
      I think many variations exist,Summer eagle,no eagle,off.eagle,NCO eagle,tan eagle,tan triangular eagle...,brown buttons,silver buttons..etc..

Here're 2 examples showing no eagle..

Nice photos, thank you Jos! I have a LW tropical tan 4 pocket tunic. A vet bring back with one flight piped Oberleutnant shoulder board, silver officer buttons and it never had an eagle. No trace at all, and I'm sure thats the way it came from the factory. As I'm sure you know, very early Fliegerbluse came from the factory with no eagle.
