Bought this today is this flak or artilery?

I bought this item today, bus I was wondering if this was for flak troops or artillery troops...?




Is there a site wich explains all the TR insignia?

Well, I'm no Luft guy, but I think the Luftwaffe did not have artillery.

this is the insignia worn by Luftwaffe Flak artillery crews. You will see this badge worn in period photos towards the bottom of the wearers left sleeve.

Just realised that i'm not being entirely clear for you. Don't think of Luft Flak artillery units as being batteries of weapons bombarding ground targets at range.The roles in which they were generally used were attacking (naturally) aircraft or armoured formations. Many photographs show both tank and aircraft kills on the barrels of Flak guns.

Nick,I don't want to come off sounding harsh,no offence is intended.Dude,this thread tells me you need to get a few reference books.Sure I would rather spend my money for more "toys" too.If your going to collect patchs and such you may want to pick up "Badges & Insignia of the Third Reich 1933-1945" by Brian L Davis.cost around $20US.

I'am normally not into Luftwaffe items so I didn't know what it was. I kinda guest it myself what is was, wings ==> Luftwaffe / 88 ==> flak or artillery...
