Two insignias

I need you kind help on these 2 insignias recently acquired from a local collector.
#1 is tropical cockade for a KM visor cap.
#2 is a metal breast Heer eagle.
What do you think of ?

This type of eagle was worn on the summer tunis am I right ? And don't you think the low hook was added cause it is welded ?

Hi Phil,
The lower "hook" just helped stabilize the eagle and probably kept it from flopping around. This pattern metal breast eagle was worn on the summer white uniforms. Hope this helps! If you ever get tired of this old bird please let me know.
