green collar patch ?

    green collar patch ?

    Hello, just bought this collar patch amongst other items.
    It has remains of tropical coloured thread from where it came off a tunic. Came with other tropical items, so that makes sense.
    Can someone please tell me what this is. I dont know what bright green means.

    Perhaps it is post war East or West German ?
