RARE shoulder strap and PANZER eagle

Hi guys, here is one of my latest acquisitions.
A tropical feldwebel strap. I understand this is INFANTRY waffenfarbe ?
I am confident it is original. It came from a good source.
    Any comments welcome.

    Thanks very much.

WANTED TO BUY - AFRIKA KORPS soldbuch / wehrpass / photos / docs etc.

        Hey Scott,

What is the difference in the two(regular infantry and Heer Flak)? I thought that flak and artillary had a red waffenfarbe.

        Very respectfully

What I recall: In North Afrika, white was prescribed for non-motorized infantry (of which early on there was none/next to none - 90th Light I think began to introuduce white for infantry), MG battalions and Flak. However, greens (always a complicated story) were the most prevalent color for all infantry throughout the campaign...if memory serves me, but white did creep in late/after 1941 for infanterie (mot). Reason for green had to do with initially making uniforms for a Panzer division (Pz Gren) and a light division (motorized infantry) was sent (5. Leichte Divisionen) instead. So, not only was there an initial shortage of white but...

...I think you are mixing up Luftwaffe Waffenfarbe (red) with Heer (white). Heer Flak was called "Flugabwehr" while Luftwaffe was called "Flugabwehrartilleriekanone".

Someone can correct my recollection of all of this, but I think white was pretty much the color throughout any theater for Heer Falk, as it was not part of the Artillerie, but a separate branch.
