Waffenrock Padding

I'm assuming that some soldiers had their tailors add extra padding to the breast of their waffenrocks to make themselves look "bigger"? I can't imagine why else they would have done this?

Thoughts?... Comments?... Ridiculing me for being funny looking?...

Yes Greg you are right. Padding was also added to the shoulders especially.

Thanks Guys! I guess their generation should have ate more red meat as they all seemed to be pretty small guys to begin with.


The nice thing is I think I have found my focus in collecting in Uniforms. Allthough I should have picked something cheaper like EK's
