I would like an opinion on these LW NCO Tropical flight shoulder boards. I believe them to be copies. - Bill

Gene,
The SB's are made of tropical shirt like material. What I don't like about them is the poor sewing job along the flaps and button holes. They maybe for sale. anyone else??? Bill

Thanks to all who commented....I guess I was wrong on these. I picked them up at Sam's Military show in San Antonio last Saturday. The same dealer had a LW tropical sidecap, LW shirt with originally sewn trapazoid eagle, Tropical flight lower enlisted SB's and a pair of LW shorts he was selling as a set for $1,600 but I passed on them.
I have another pair but with white waffenfarbe...these are different as they have the tunic type of tropical material on top and the bottom sewn with the shirt type material. Could you give me an opinion on these as well. Thanks! - Bill

Greetings Guys!
After seeing this post I was prompted to pull out the pair that I have. They too are for the shirt, flight piped but are enlisted not NCO. Studying and comparing my pair to the pair posted here, I think I see what the distinguishing characteristic is that makes them original.
Best regards,
Bill
