I read Schrader.
A Rittmeister in 1942 would have been Leutnant or Oberleutnant in 1938. There are two such guys in the November 1938 Rangliste but one is KIA in 1940 and the other one is infantry.
That means your Mantel either belonged to a reserve officer or a Kriegsoffizier. Both are difficult to research.
Furthermore, i am not convinced if the shoulder straps really belong to the Mantel. "Rittmeister" would be rather "Hauptmann" in Panzerregiment 2.

taking aside previous comments regarding panzer units, Rittmeister was a military rank of a commissioned cavalry officer in the german army. so, my guess is that this large coat had golden-yellow shoulder boards for a cavalry captain. these were missing and a previous collector place this well-worn panzer ones ...

Could also be a former Aufklärer, cavalry man or member of PzRgt.24, who had been transferred to PzRgt.2. To be certain, one had to find this Rittmeister Schrader, but as I said above, its very difficult.
