    Uniform help and identification

Hi All, any help regarding this uniform would be very much appreciated.
The buttons I don't believe are original to the tunic, as the stitching is poor and the original stitching can be seen underneath.
The shoulder board retaining loops are also rather poorly stitched.
At some point insignia of some description has been pinned \attached to the upper collar,

Would love to know what's this is or was , or should be.

      Info

Thanks for the info, do you know what the uniform was originally for? And is it actually post war German military?

The tunic and shoulder boards are west german BGS, the breeches probably east german VOPO and the suspenders are czech, everything post war.

First time I see a BGS tunics with dark green cuffs . Is this a specific pattern I'm not aware of?

            Info

            Hi All,

Thanks for the help in working this out, after closer inspection I can see were the original shoulder boards have been cut out, I'm also now convinced, after closer inspection , that the green collar and cuffs are not original to the uniform.

It's looking like one for the Dustbin!

The tunic has been fiddled with, someone changed the original french cuffs to those short Waffenrock'esque dark green ones with Spieß Tresse and added Tresse to the collar too.
