Stug wrapper / real or a fake?

Hello guys, after I was lucky with the tank wrapper I want to show you these stug wrappers. I got the stug wrapper 20 years ago in a small village near the city of Linz. The day of truth has come today. Please opinions. I trust in you. Is it a real or a fake? Please opinions. Thanks and have a great night in this difficulty time.

A most interesting tunic that appears to be all original based on these images. It can, of course, be difficult to determine original stitching without a hands-on inspection, but it, too, looks like a winner. Could you show a close-up of the ink stamping inside. The greener/cleaner band around the waist where the belt was is interesting.

I too think this tunic has a good chance of being all original. It likely had Russia braid surrounding the litzen when it left the factory that was removed (there may be a small hole at the upper corner where this often penetrates the collar). Some late war Pz. Gren. units wore these wrappers as regular infantry and often removed the typical red or pink Russia braid.

The Jaeger patch may suggest that.

I like it a lot! Typical configuration one would expect on these late war Panz.Gren. / Jäger wraps. IMO you did very well 20 years ago

I do have one but with the standard piped in green collar patches .

Base wrapper original. In my opinion eagle has been replaced. 3 threads of a different color above left wing visible from previous bird. That makes everything suspect imo.

I am not convinced those things you see are threads from a previous application. I owned a late war wrapper like this one with the triangular eagle sewn in a heavy zigzag like this one. Replacing an eagle like this (not through the lining) would not be an easy task. Someone going to that extent would likely remove remnants of threads. The wear is consistent with the wear to the rest of the tunic, if it has been replaced it is a remarkable job.
