It's the regimental crest for the 162nd Fortress Infantry Regiment [162e Régiment d'Infanterie de Forteresse], which was part of the troops manning the Maginot Line and disbanded in 1940:

Unexpected!) Probably, some French soldier decided to repeat the path of his ancestor, but this time did not reach Moscow!) Or it is a trophy of a German soldier who visited France!?
