    Tram Eagle

I could use some help with this tram eagle 39 x 25.5cm (roughly15"x 9.") coming to auction it has a crack to one wing where it meets the breast. These are kind of scarce and I would appreciate some opinions on it, it seems like you see many more R/R eagles than tram eagles. All help is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Michael H.

I don't think it is a good one. Pics of the reverse would be helpful.

No pics of reverse, Mike. Some of these tram eagles are unmarked, some have a "V" marking as well as studs. The front does not look crisp.

            Hi Mike,

Sorry but the reverse does not conform to known examples. There seems to be a fair amount of distortion on the wing. Compare the differences with this piece (I do not own it but just as a reference):
