Hello everyone. I got this flag a number of years back from a collector friend and I'm trying to figure out what it might be. It is 38" tall x 30" wide. The flag is made of silk or some other light fabric. As you can see in the picture, it has sewn loop the width of the flag at top and bottom, as if a rope or metal or wood dowel could be placed through it for hanging. It has the Totenkof skull on printed on it. The flag is old and we believe from WWII. I have seen the small triangular German flags for mine fields that have the same/similar skull on them.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I would say an early landline flag, can’t say for certain but the yellow and skull seems to point to mines
