          1939 regulations do mention just two different forms:
          a) Kreisleitung: golden braids upon a darker-brown velvet backing with a white piping;
          b) Ortsgruppe: golden braids upon brown velvet backing and lighter-blue piping.
          The bandoleer only was possible to be purchased through the Gau-organzational department.
          Other forms were not mentioned.

          The manufacturer's shown here were (L2 = Lederzeugfabriken):
          1081 = Moritz Stecher from Freiberg (Sachsen)
          371 = E.G. Leuner from Bautzen (Sachsen)
          39 of course means production in 1939.

              A quick question, OFW: If the bandolier was worn on the PL uniform as shown at the bottom of note #2 below, would the flagbearer gorget be worn on top of the bandolier?

              Thanks for your input, as always!

                  In my, in Germany published book about gorgets, I do show six photos of the wearing of the political leaders gorget. With all the gorget is over the bandolier.
                  No difference between the wearing of the tunic or greatcoat.
                  Even in my country, the Netherlands, the gorget was worn over it. And so it was at the Generalgouvernement.

                  And so it was done with practically all organizations, as army, airforce, SS, NSFK, RAD, except for the one or
                  the other "clown" that did not follow procedures.

                  It is a pity I cannot show photos at this forum. I have some great ones in the book.
