Fascist Spanish Flag Help Needed

I just found this Franco era Spanish flag. It's said to have been brought to the U.S.A. in 1939 with a Spanish immigrant family. It's measurement is about 4 x 8 feet. It's made of double faced satin with vintage style hand assisted embroidery. It's very nicely made, single sided with a pile sleeve running the length of the left side when facing it, and actually quite heavy.

Can anyone add any information as to whether this dates to the outbreak of War in Europe. Any ideas as to value for such a flag. It would really look nice with a Blue Division collection.

I've spent the past couple of days trying to find more information on this flag. It seems that these are very hard to come by. The only one that I've been able to find is on eBay and they're asking $995.00 for it and it doesn't even compare to this one.

I'm posting this poor screenshot from a film found on YouTube of the Blue Division in Russia carrying such a flag.

I also measured the flag accurately and it measures 8"L x 5"W.

todocoleccion.net for all things Spanish a lot of Spanish militaria listed there a Spanish version of eBay so to speak . Look in the sold category not listed.

The flag is nice and defiantly original but, common in Spain than in the U.S. I've seen similar for around 300euro or less the majority of the time.

Yes, its confusing for me sometimes. Search "bandera franco" in militar category only to see live ones. Do not search in English the results get messed up.


Here are some completed ones from 1940s.

Last photo is just of some rarer unit ones. Maybe one day I will get one.
