Here is another one from Facebook that I saw posted up a couple of days back, by a US collector, and was asking about originality. I am always amazed when it comes to something like this, that it only takes a few minutes to do a search and find photos/reference to genuine examples, but these things continue to thrive and sell....


I guess as far as fakes go, someone went to a fair bit of trouble to make this one...

Thanks for more Fb photos, in this case showing
the modern made SW-Asia bullion embroidery work.
Back when I was still doing shows (c.2009), I had
made some digital screen printed versions in both
full size and in G.I. Joe scale. They served as visual
aids to show the designs of the "real" flags I was then
looking for, & at a much less risk of damage or theft.
