    To the bone. There are more 35" examples made in the UK post war, than
    there were legit ones manufactured in Germany pre 1945

          Many Thanks JR for the fast reply,always best to ask & be on the safe side before you pull the trigger The APAG marking looked pretty convincing but i didn't like the ground off stud on the back of the Eagle,the stud would be on the wreath and Swastika right?

            Though few in number in regards to what we see in collections within the collecting community, surprisingly there are a hand full of different makers. In lieu of that, we do see some different stud configurations.

                Not just the stud configurations, but the details such as those on the talons and on the reverse cast are just not what we would expect from an original. Perhaps other might be able to post some examples of a reverse as a reference?
