A local antique shop recently had an Imperial German war flag for sale......From what I could see, the construction looked right.....Was silk screened material with manufacturing information along the header....Had "Berlin 1918" and size "55 X 100" on it....Have to admit, the size was one I'm not familiar with and with a $550 price tag decided not to persue.....This and I really don't collect Imperial German WW1 pieces....A few days ago it sold....Was the size proper for an original WW1 flag?.....All thoughts appreciated including Old Flags....Bodes

Fritz Finke from Wilhelmshaven, Illustrierter Katalog. No year indication, but handwritten there is a note from about 1930. The catalogue includes a several hundred of naval cap tallies from the Imperial navy for those that look for them as a rememberance and from the Reichsmarine.

55x100cm IKF's ???

IDK, as I've not yet seen an authentic
WW1 IKF in that size. However, I am
skeptical as the size you stated is
close to known 60x90cm fakes. So
an evaluation of the center eagle
and header details would needed
to say for sure one way or another.
