Was this flag auctioned in the UK? If so could it be a bring back from the Invasion of Iceland in 1940 by the British? There is 1 other known example found in a group of Iceland Nationalist Party pieces from 1 man who was in the party.

Yes it was auctioned in the UK .I was going to go for it but it went for more than I was prepared to spend on something I knew nothing about.
