thanks all - there is an auction in USA in the state of Washington and there is alot of crap for auction and they are stating the item are original and from an old collection. I send the auction an email about there items and they told me I don't know what I'm talking about?? thx again !!

Having noted these fake SS pennants
for several decades, I've wondered
about their design origins - is there
a "real" SS pennant with SS, number
and unit emblem? Likely, these were
just pure fantasy creations of Delta.

Yes, that is quite obviously a metal PENNANT, the operative term here being PENNANT. If you look AGAIN at OFW's post, he posed the thought, "having noted these fake SS pennants for several decades, I've wondered about their design origins-". I simply gave a possible starting point/design origin from a real war period photo. I simply stated "here is something SIMILAR" to look at. For someone to say that it is "NOTHING like the garbage that is the discussed item here", is a close minded and quite honestly ignorant. Statements like that just ooze of comradery and hobby enjoyment.
