Is this ones original? If so what is a fair price for one? I've wanted one for a while now.

IMO, a repro based on poor eagle design.

Thanks for the look at some
interesting Luft pennants. I
like the chain stitched p#5.
Any other opinions on p#1,
background color seems odd.

Hello there,
the pennant was baught as a part of larger group after one Austrian/LW pilot straight from Vet Family.
Every item from the group is original. I do not have any reasons to think this pennant could be fake.
It is made very precisly, has good patina in hand, very interesting it could be a repro ????Attached Files

Just to refresh this old thread regarding my LW officer pennant.
The pennant I have was questioned to be original few years back in this thread. As I wrote already before I have it in hands, it has great patina, the eagle is made very precisly etc....... I never seen any red flags so I was surprised to read that it could be a repro.
Another "plus" argument was that it came with large group of items straight from pilot Family.
And now we can see another LW pennant from the exact same maker, the eagle pattern and weave is the same, the only difference is the condition, my pennant is mint, the one for sale is very used and moist.
Please, have a look.

Revised opinion, based on the photo compare provided,
showing like eagle sewing details of your mint pennant vs. a
nice vintage seen more service use worn and faded example.
My own preference still remains with chain stitched pennants,
like post #5 in this thread & those shown in WAF t=504179.
