This came from a veteran's collection of flags and other items. It measures about 100 x 140cm with a rope loop at the top and rope length at the bottom. The emblem is a separate applied piece on both sides. Material is a polished cotton.

Right, OFW! I've been trying to get one of these for a while and always seem to miss out.
The other flags included a huge 1933 pattern Kriegsflagge, an HJ FLag with corner patches, a Soldatenbund (trooped version with rings), a DJ missing the corner patches,
a couple of red RLBs, RDF, and others.
One odd one is a black swallow tail (upper tail is longer than the lower one) with a white German helmet silhouette on one side and a red three armed Runic swastika on the other.Last edited by paulj; 03-17-2017, 04:52 PM.Comment

I almost picked one of these up while at SOS. His prices seemed decent, since I picked up a ww2 soviet air force flag for well below collector value even. Maybe next year, who knows...Comment
