    Reichskriegsflagge with loops

    Hello,

I've this Reichskriegsflagge with loops I've not seen before.
Maybe intended for hanging in front of a wall or building?

It is made of fine wool (some moth damages) and sized approx 150x250, there are no markings, only a carton label of 'P&O Clothes'?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Jim

      Hello Jim:
IMO a WW2 period RKF with a rare converted header
for soldier/sailor parade pole trooping use purposes.
Seven loops are reminiscent of seven pole mounting
rings used on trooped NSDAP corner patch unit flags.
