Is this flag Hermann Goering Regiment?

I have been told it is HGR and also Prussian Police.

Any advice as to whom it was used for?

    Cheers, Darek

      Hello Darek:
Nice Prussian Land Police pattern battalion flag,
especially with the Police Star top and the Police
      green color streamers.
      Speculation has it that
Land Police flags were pole attached by 40 nails
down and 10 around the pole. Where as the RGG
Bn flags had 76 nails down and 12 around the pole,
like the other military Luft & Heer battalion fahnen.
Guess we won't know for sure until the Southern
Cross RGG flag shows up sometime, if ever.

        ... now on E-Stand.

Post 1&2 Landpolice battalion fahne now on E-Stand.
Includes the rarely seen poletop and streamers.
Another example was shown on the WAF in 2008
in t=287167, with a more complex beak & black
thread outlined bullion wire laurel wreath leaves.

Pole top has a casting hole and the streamers are cut and sewn back together.

            Hello MN:
Do you mean the "casting hole" behind the swastika?
I also note the streamer ribbon repair shown in post #1.

Yes, catches your eyes when you have it in hand. No markings on the pole top either.

                Thanks for comments

I am assuming it is priced reasonably?

aka 30k for the flag, pole top and streamers?

The ones listed on the other site are north of 50K ( albeit their flags are in better condition ).
