    Flags In Studio Portraits

    German photographers were masters of the studio portrait and yet you rarely see flags in them. I recently saw this wonderful DAF portrait on eBay.

    Please post any studio portrait you own or have seen which contains a unit flag.

    I concur, German studio photos containing
    unit flags appear to be rare for some reason.

    (below) Most soldier with unit flag photos I've seen are
    vintage Soviet era - model 1935 & model 1940 versions.
