Looks like a good one to me.
I was looking for one of these hj/dj toppers for quite a while, but through a friend I picked one up from Germany for about £300 last year.

I agree, the pole top in question is original. I also agree that price is very high. I paid only about 175 Euro for one a few years back. I no longer own it, but when I sold it on the Estand I sold it with a D.J. Fahnlinefahne for less than $900 USD. If somebody must have one right now I suppose they would pay that price. Personally I would hold out and shop around, I saw a comparable example a friend picked up at the SOS for less than $400.
