Hi Søren,

Having never owned an example of the DR Railway Eagle, I am surprised to notice something that I had never recognized before about this design: the oakleaf wreath clutched in the eagle's talons is upside-down, according to all other TR wreath designs! This is truly an example of something "hidden in plain sight," for if anyone asked me which way the leaves ran on all TR eagles-and-swastikas, I would have immediately said: "Upward from the bottom ribbon!"
