Regarding AV Bund flags, the FBI raided Bund offices throughout the country in 1941 and later. It seized everything that wasn't nailed down. Alledgedly, the inventory is still in storage somewhere. The Jugendschaft flag shown in the photo posted by OFW was at a cleaners at the time of the raid and hence survived. Items in private homes and businesses that were not targeted by the FBI escaped seizure as well. I have a flag pole with a eagle and swastika top that came out of a Milwaukee estate but have never seen a full sized AV Bund flag.

My buddy Jeff ( who is a member of the WAF) has a fairly large collection of rare Bund items, much of which came out of my collection, including a meeting size American flag with the German eagle holding a swastika. Very rare and under appreciated items in my opinion.
