NSDAP 1st & 2nd Eagle Pole Top Patterns ???
Hello Michael:
An interesting question. I see the "first model" NSDAP eagle as
having a flat body, wings straight out, and a saucer on the base,
i.e., example "B" in the posted 1935 flag company catalog chart.
I call the photo #4 eagle top "generic", as the wings are canted
down, and the base has an oval ball rather than a saucer - it is
also very seldom seen, in comparison to many 1st/2nd examples.
As such IMO the post #12 photo type #4 is a generic commercial
limited made product, & not one of the normally seen NSDAP eagle
pole tops (chart "B" & photo #12), so not counted as a pattern.
