And the bigger Question- Why are they carrying Railway Eagles on top of flags in 'Raiders of the lost Ark?

They didn't rely on historical facts so I would say it falls under "a creative license" to do so.....I have to believe the vast majority of those watching Raiders of the Lost Ark wouldn't know any difference any way.....Just us nerdy fellows on military forums.... Bodes

I think part of the appearance of "rare" railway/wall eagles has to do with the price rise in recent times from $800 to $2500. And then people think they fall into the same category as pole top eagles.

I find it very interesting that the eagle "disappeared" from Whittmann's site a couple months ago, but it now mysteriously appears on his new video of the current SOS show..... (12:03)
