Pennant Wiking

I´ve got this postwar pennant, needle and book (as well as some other stuff)from an ex- member of the SS Division Wiking.The coat of arms altough don´t look like the one for Wiking.Maybe i am lacking something but it would be nice if somebody could help me out with that. Did they use another one after the war because of swastika??

Hello skalp:
IMO you have the reason for the 5-SS-Div vet post war
use of a signals bolt, as their WW2 swastika emblem was
indeed banded from in public display by German Strafge-
setbuch section (Criminal Code) 86a, see online the fol-
lowing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strafgesetzbuch_section_86a
