Picked this up several years ago at a Motel buy, don't know if it is original or perhaps made for the GI's? Looks to be made of silk and silver like thread for the letters, opinions welcome.

about the bullion lettered DE banner...

The bullion lettered DE banner shown is a Pakistani made
item imported and resold by Weger of Delta International
via the Shot Gun News some 20 years ago! Original DE
banners have unique white chain stitch like lettering with
letter edge outlined in black. See the Ulric/Bender DE
book for nice photos of same, or if you need a copy of the
book I have a couple as some of the original items in the
book are from my collection! OldFlagsWanted.com

Thanks for the information, I have seen the ones that Reddick sells and it was quite diffrent but didn't know about the Weger ones, it looks nice on the wall and I didn't give too much for it.

This style was very expensive when first offered by Delta--if I remember correctly, it was in the $300.00 range. They're nicely made, but quite different than the originals as noted by Ben. Reddick's copies are closer, but still a far cry from the originals.
