HJ/DJ Bannfahnen are actually rarer than Heer fahnen, but
oddly not price wise. Also interesting to see a RZM DJ top -
where M3/46/38 = APAG (Aluminium-Präzisionsguss A.G.),
located at Nowawes (Neu-Babelsberg) near Potsdam on
Friesenstrasse 1/3 , in the year 1938.

"Mehrfach durchbrochene, schlanke Spitze aus poliertem
Aluminium mit Adler und HJ-Raute. Am Basisrohr gestempelt
"RZM" und "M3/46/38". Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Höhe
ca. 35 cm. Seltene Fahnenspitze."
Condition: II 750 EURO sold

DJ top photos you posted are just about
1:1 (full size), so micro flaws do show up.
IMO looking too close at anything you are
likely to see something less than perfect.
Major flaws, like lots of casting pin holes
and non-sharp edges are when to worry.

Yes, the HH Auction DJ top was rated as "condition II",
so it did/does have some minor flaws. IMO, but not
major flaws, like lots of pin holes and most important
non-sharp detail such as metal flow into mold grooves.
