These two Jingling Johnnies were at this year's MAX Show. Did anyone get a chance to take a close look at them? Who had them for sale? What were the prices?

MAX 2011: Schellenbaum
Greetings!
Believe that Gregg Mogck at www.germanmilitarytreasures.com had the Polizei schellenbaum.
Best regards,
Bill

The Schellenbaum on the left of the photo ( Inf. Reg. 79 ) is for a big part post war , only the star and the Schellenbaum banner are from the Third Reich period , the eagle is from the Reichswehr period ( they still used them during the TR ) everything under the sun is post war .
The tails are not made of real horse hair , like it should be , but made of synthetic hair .
I have a Schellenbaum from the seventees that has exactly the same half moon , bell , tails ( only different colours ) pole etc.
You can still buy them today by Josef Klier http://josefklier.de/musikinstrument...enbaum-253254/
Some photos from my Schellenbaum
The Police Schellenbaum on the right is 100% original , with real horse hair etc.
I found more info on the net about that Inf. Reg. Schellenbaum

Actually, the bells and stars on the Polizei Schellenbaum were purchased from Klier in the 1980s. When I got the Schellenbaum it was missing those items, which could be either swastikas and bells or stars and bells. I have photo of the original piece being paraded in 1934 and it had stars and bells. I found the Klier company somehow back then and bought a set, which matched the photo exactly. I sold it to Gregg at the last SOS.
I found the bullion/silk flag a few years later. Flags were also produced in chainstitch/wool, as evidenced in a source photo I have of one on parade in the Ostmark.
