It's a NSRL Sports Assoc. Flag (one of my Favorite Styles) It might be good but Better Photos would get you a better Idea from some of the Guys who collect flags

I have 2 similair flags,where yours has the white edge mine has ties.Here`s 1 of them,this is the salty 1 of the 2.Sorry I didn`t straighten it out better.

Thanks for the replies I saw this at an auction and have never seen one before so I thought I would ask about it I like the looks of that style of flag but dont like how different the eagle looks from the one Gary posted doesnt seem to have the same detail as his like the feet the size of the lines ect.

example with rope header & thus with less screen
printed eagle detail. garvy posted example with
unit corner patch is a parade trooped type, so it
was more expensive to produce than post #1 type.

Right,,,a real nice Sporting Association flag. This is an impressive looking piece from the design standpoint.

An awful lot of things seem different to me.The shoulders should be alot broader.If you look at tinnies and such,they all look more like my example.The eye is different,talons,shape of the tail,sharpness to the nose.Seems to me that the details are way below the regular standard.

Nice selection of variations. One has to remember that many different compnaies made these over a long period and official changes were made as well. So comparing one or two to use as a "textbook" guides can be misleading.
