    3x5 RK Flag/Banner

I acquired a 3x5[meter]RK flag/banner today, unfortunatly my camera isn't working right now.It has an Reichskreigsflg. 3x5 stamp, and the small stick bird w/circle/swas/M stamp [what is this symbol??].Is this size considered a flag or banner, and what/where would it have been used??It has a small 5-6 inch tear,is it advisible to have this sewn?? I realize w/o pics a value is difficult, but any estimate would be appreciated,it is in good cond.,somewhat dirty and faded, but not badly.Doesn't have the hanging rope.Thank you, Lenny

The stickbird is most likely the Navy Acceptance mark

      Hello lleno:
Eagle "M" marking denotes certified for Sea Service -
should have additional stitching for higher wind use.
The 3x5 meter size #10, was for 1500 to 10K ton ships,
like a Cruiser (Leipzig 8.4K tons). Letter font can vary.

(below) Some 3rd Reich flag KM markings...
